Agreed. If there's one thing that I have found out in my long tenure of playing p99, the less often you play it, the more fun it is when you log in, and more rewarding it feels.

Very much so. Just got back from a lengthy hiatus and it definitely is great to be back in Norrath. Some people need to take a break from the immersion of these forums and actually play the game.

I think the state of the upper level scene speaks for itself. I've been on 4-5. Something I'd like to forget. But you're correct.

P1999 basically hands a starving village half a chicken and is like "welp divide it up fairly guys", followed by amazement that people get their heads smashed with rocks over half a dried out leg.

Always found it amusing how so many things change because it wasn't classic..then things are changed that wasn't classic...just because it improved gameplay.

P99 is still fun. People just forgot how to play it... and it shows on the forums a lot.
