Who you mean? In terms of winning the settlement

I think 2 big other negatives are: 1. Even if Amazon did take over because it was inevitable anyway, I think jobs lost from brick and mortar stores is still < new Amazon warehouse and delivery jobs. Plus the issue of one single company being mostly responsible for everyone’s retail wages and customer products

And 2. A general feeling of in un-safety in the community. Because even die hard progressives like Ethan Klein and Hasan Abi admitted on a podcast while watching a looting vid that yea, anyone witnessing that would feel unsafe. Of course Hasan then went on to mock an old immigrant man who “lost $2 worth of dorrittos” from his outside kiosk during a looting. When actually he lost most of his inventory, he was a poor immigrant, and he had his head shoved into the wall. Hasan also didn’t notice in the looting vid he was watching the looters maced the security guard, so it’s not like no violence occurred

But these are Champagne socialists so of course they talk out of both sides of their mouth
