u can play with the classic UI, you cant see dot dmg, buff duration. buff stacking is actually classic. there are some things on this server more classic than p99. also its debatable what classic is. to me its kunark + classic. for some its the trilogy for others its up to PoP. p99 and eqmac both have pros and cons. you can limit yourself to classic content on eqmac and use the classic UI for a real classic feel.

there's nothing classic about playing in ghost zones with no people in it because there is better content in PoP than 90% of kunark/velious to farm.

at night its not bad. i actually had a full group of no boxers.

mornings are kinda empty but no worse than p99.

boxing annoying as fuck. leveled both these toons seperate to 26. i think ill keep leveling them seperate unless i install eq mac on a second comp. alt tabbing is just annoying.

one cool thing is there is constant MGB. people pretty helpful here.

classic still has best leveling zones. highkeep is poppin on eqmac.

ya for sure. the no scroll out is the main CON imo however its not classic so i guess i should love it. tbh i think everyone will be playing EQ Next, it sounds very promising. they should make eq mac sub based and get a legit pc client on it. it would make $$$ compared to the trash they have now. in any case i dont think it matters if you level here, there or anywhere. EQ Next is the next big thing that people are at least going to try. if it really is the "largest sandbox mmo ever made" i dont expect many people to return to eqmac, p99, or any other eq server. lets hope it delivers!

Anyone see my post above. I can get it to run but its in this box on my screen. I was hoping to get to full screen if possible. Any suggestion?

I just installed EQMac. Rolled my tried and true Troll SK (possible Shaman box to come).

Also, is there any way to get a true Full Screen? I can get the game to cover most of the screen, but it's still just a big ass Window.

Also I realize there isn't a true 3rd person view, do you play full screen, or press f9 twice, zoom out then lock the mouse look?

edit: Anybody know how to make an exception in Avast for WSOCK32.dll? I don't particularly like having to disable Avast just to run EQMac.
