Oh and btw yes the "victims" brought their fate upon themselves. Since Gravy is dumb and crazy as usual, I'll point out that highlighting their criminal histories speaks to their state of mind chasing kyle and their status as a legitimate threat to him at the time. It's highly unlikely they were valiantly trying to "stop an active shooter" like good little boyscouts with rap sheets like that.

Nobody is saying they "deserved" to die, but they made choices and took actions against a guy with a gun who was trying to get away from them. Take it as a cautionary tale. "Chasing guy holding a huge gun = BAD"

No it doesn't. Unless he's a robot with facial recognition software and access to some sort of criminal database.

He went to own libs. He owned some libs. He should be punished. Murder, manslaughter, reckless something or other? I'm not sure which of these he's technically guilty of, but he should be found guilty.

Except that he’s not guilty and was a clear case of self defense. You’re blinded dude and you need to take a step back.

I’ve said this before, I lean left. The videos were clear as day. The folks attacking him were fanatic maniacs just like the folks defending those people. Just like the right has fanatics who are blinded.

Well since the Kyle Rittenhouse thread just got locked at HEROIC POST #796 (Thank you Castle2.0!), I expect this to be locked too, so thank you everyone for participating in that thread, it was a blast and it joins my other locked posts, which were all resounding successes like that one.

I didn't say *kyle* knew their background, but for the rest of us, their backgrounds absolutely lend credibility to the idea that they were attacking and trying to seriously hurt kyle, not trying to "stop an active shooter" which was the only flimsy justification for their actions the prosecution could muster.

There is still time for the political hacks at the Dept of Justice to come in with some Civil Rights charges. Based on how petty the DoJ has been over the last 9 months I wouldn't be shocked.

This has turned out to be all about politics, but it should not have.

I don't care which way you "lean". I don't want non-cops arming themselves and inserting themselves into dangerous situations where they'll inevitably end up killing someone - even if that someone was a piece of shit.

Free licenses for politically radicalized nutjobs to kill politically radicalized nutjobs on the "other side". Just arm yourself, head to a site of unrest, and press and press until you get the result you're waiting for.
