I can confirm 100% that the bolded is the case. Purist is in the top 1% of the top 1% of quality contributors. This board doesn't deserve him anymore, but it does deserve more of my blogposts.

The video dates to the great forum holocaust of 2011/2012, wherein the entire subcommunity of fun people (which was thriving actually, probably 20-strong) was successfully run off the server because the people doing the moderating were mad as fuck 24/7. Dozens of people making hundreds of forum accounts on thousands of proxies were implemented, until new forum accounts started requiring moderator approval, IRC was in +m 24/7, video embed was disabled, thread tags were disabled, and p99 board became 100% sterile pixelchat for a year or two until mod turnover allowed for the infestation of the board with the likes of Lron riding my coattails again (he disappeared as soon as I started posting again, lol). You can still reach some of the quality contributors from back then like chadlek if you're willing to venture into cancerous pixelchats like Elfpals, etc, but if you want a Purist or a 4thml you'll need a time machine.

The date of this video, 11/30/2011 forms the line of demarcation between the antediluvian "Tralinian" era of the p99 community and the creation of the EverQuest-themed elevator shaft we bitterly shit down nowadays.
