Just to get back on topic here, yes, 35+ is insanely camped, but then again, I am fairly new to EQ.
I know of Rath Mountains for HGs, they seem to be a rare spawn right now. Sometimes I go to Oasis for SGs, have yet to see Scepters not camped. Have a few kill skills too during 2x exp. All bets seemed to be off.

It seems back in the day, people grouped in camps in items they didnt need/couldn't use for exp and game balance. -clerics joined FBSS camps because they needed to. Or no tank is gonna help camp their drops.- Here they roll and PL a caster, wait until its way green and camp it to sell (at ridiculous prices) to the people sitting at the entrance wishing they could get in on it. The WoW mentality of 'GimmeGimmeGimme' is infecting even here.

Fuck the pnp, If my group wants your camp (and we're able to outdps yours on kills/dmg) then we'll take it. I have no issue with you trying to take it back. There is a reason contested mobs were fun and challenging. Contested.....If you're able to take my groups named at a camp we've been at, good for you. If youre not, tough shit, maybe next time.
All this whining and bitching because someone stole your mob or because your guild wasnt able to take down CT before another, even though you cleared all the trash, is nothing but bullshit. Sony never enforced the pnp, it was an off the record suggestion of how to treat your other players. Several petitions went through and were returned with camps do not exist. If my group wants your groups camp spot, and we're able to take it, then again, tough shit for you guys. If your group can take our camp and keep it, tough shit for us.

Heh this is a rather old thread but it is very topical still today.
Yes camp spots for say 35 to 50 (there is enough to experience still in low 30s IMO) are horrendously over-crowded. However, unlike a previous poster, I believe that Kunark will be very effective in correcting this problem. Oh, I'll grant you that the choicest spots in the choice dungeons will still see heavy contention. However, the problem as it stands now is not just lack of spots to make experience in dungeons - the problem today is a shortage of ANY spots in which to make experience, be it in a dungeon or in an outdoor area. Kunark not only introduces a healthy dose of new and compelling dungeons, it also introduces acres and acres of real estate in which to farm roaming mobs. Kunark will ease the overall pressure greatly.
