Growing up, when we used to learn concepts like this in a school setting rather than an online message board for video games and twitter. I always thought the defining characteristic for fascism was, "authoritarianism using brutal violence by which the means to achieve it."

Now it means "Dad" or, "Rules that people who like to dance on the street in the rain wouldn't like".
