I would hope so by now. If you don't mind EQ PVP, I suppose you can't find much better.

Since most people didn't play PVP back in the day, it seems about right, population-wise. In their favor, they really do want to encourage new players, so there's that.
Most people that hate red are harboring some long standing misconceptions or just aren’t social enough to make friends and want to afk their groups and play a strange form of solo while “grouping.”

Red is not for people who don’t want to make friends or learn to play well.

Not a lot of space for Netflix and “med” type people.

What if you enjoy predictability?
Then you will be fine on red. I predict nothing will happen and you will be bored AF.

In all seriousness, it's heavily implied in the first post? He lists one bad thing about blue, then two good things about red, then says to start playing on red?
Theoretically if you enjoy predictability, waiting in line for something is a good thing. We're playing a 20yr old mmo that most people have just about memorized. It's hard to deny that a lot of people are here for the predictability.

That being said, there are alternatives if you occasionally want to spice up your elfing a bit.

I think we might have to agree to disagree sir, I am actually enjoying P99 very much, have made some passing acquaintances and people have been very helpful.[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Though I might agree the TLP could be fun too, it boils down to what people do for fun.

Perhaps P99 is not fun anymore for you , and that is usually the sign of burn , playing other games or investing time in other hobbies might help you avoid the burnout.

I am very well aware of the drama that is the endgame, but personally, making your goal the endgame of Everquest or any other game for that matter is a recipe for disaster if you do not end in any of the top coalitions or alliances, unless your only form of fun is the endgame itself, there are many myriad ways in which to enjoy the whole journey, heck even striving guilds trying to carve out a niche of their own in locked content can be fun for some.

No need to throw mud on a server that by its own volition is not only FREE but completely optional in the large scheme of things.

Are there things that could be changed for the better? Yes! Life itself is an endless strive for this particular dilemma too, reflected here like many other things , but being so negatively focused on something is not only harming to you but in the long term, considering how short life is, an emotion that can only sustain itself by consuming you, its own creator.

I sincerely hope you find fun again in this game or any other endeavor of your own man.

Personally whenever I begin to feel dissatisfied with a hobby, for this is what it ends up being, no matter how serious you take it , it is always better to sometimes take a step away, breathe in and out and look at the whole picture to receive new input on many other facets of your life and life itself.

Much love to you friend, truly and genuine, from the bottom of my heart [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

1. Make a character.
2. Ask in OOC if any Sanctuary officers are online.
3. Join Sanctuary.
4. Make new friends with likeminded goals <3

It's as hard as you want to make it. Your journey could begin today ^^
