What is it with Americans and automatically jumping from "They were liable and get no pity from me" to "It was their fault, no wrongdoing occurred"?

No that really is the argument from most of the troglodytes who will champion this.

It just dawned on me, are you implying that people who drink and drive aren't responsible for their actions?

drink and operate heavy machinery = expose self to harm independent of others

drink and fall asleep at party = safe unless someone assaults you

no good, try again

guessing male/female is roughly a 50/50 chance. Given this is a EQ forum, the safe bet is male.

guessing gay/straight, unsure of actual values, but I'd say the straight vastly outnumber the straight.

guessing ethnicity is a little more problematic. Values from '08 put the hispanic percentage of the US population at 18%.

"2/3 ain't bad for a guess" The only thing you really guessed on was my ethnicity, which you got wrong. So I would say, it was terrible for a guess and equally as terrible as a red herring argument.

Furthermore.

The position I hold is that 'funny' is subjective, if you have any sort of counter-argument to that notion I'd love to hear it.
