Iksar warrior.

AC is King. WTB Giant faction guild in Velious.
You, or anyone else that say "AC is King" should really pay some attention to the damage you take. AC doesen't do a thing here on PJ99, and from what I remember, it never really did on live EQ. I have tried stripping my SK of all his gear, and do not notice any difference at all in the damage I take between being naked, and fully geared. Hell, sometimes I actually get hit FOR MORE when I am fully geared! AC shoulden't stand for Armor Class, it should stand for, 'Actually Causesyoutogethitmore'. Example-My lvl34 SK has alot of lvl40s and 50s drop items equipped, has an AC of 655, yet light blue mobs that are lvl 24 and 25 still manage to hit him for 48 and 50 consecutively, which is the most damage most mobs that level do.

Strength, Stamina, and Hit Points are where it's at. Str helps with Attack which adds to damage cap, Stamina helps with hit points, and Hit points help you take more hits.

No words can accurately describe the infectious fail the Iskar Luclin models have by losing the original sit and swim animations. It is drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa. It's painting flames on a '69 corvette. It's installing WoW on a computer.

There is no salvation for this. It is not simply a crime, it is a perversion of what was meant to be.
Not to even mention the unforgivably shitty animations that all luclin models suffered from. Even the ones that I liked the look of when standing still, looked like complete ass as soon as they moved.

LOL I have that Iksar Necro figure and the Iksar warrior and Shaman figures that followed.

As far as to which iksar Im going to play? Well I was an Ikky warrior on live for 5 years. So my heart belongs there, but I made a barb warrior to pass my time until Kunark and my wife made a barb shammy. So pretty much count out the warrior and shammy as classes for us.
Wife wants to hit things more this time around, but she kinda likes casting spells, so I told her to go with the Ikky SK and Ill make another class to team with her. You would think, Shammy but again, see above. Im thinking there will be plenty of people to team with to gain levels as has been the case thus far in P99 for us. So that narrows me down to Monk or Necro. Im thinking SK and Necro.
So for now...
Wife plays Ikky SK
Im gonna go Ikky Necro

Will be interesting to see how many people will
1.) start working on Iksar alts right away versus
2.) the number of people that will be grinding to 60 first. Oh and
3.) the people who will be trying to get the limited time items right away.

The game will be divided into three different types of players the day Kunark goes live. It's a shame really that we have so much knowledge about every little thing that will be in store for us on that day.

(Oh and Iksar Necro is still #1)

I played hard when Kunark was released and I never got any of the goodies, I don't pretend i'll be getting them this time around. Just not my luck + I dont have the fortitude to fight for camps. But I loved my leezard monk and i'm just biding my time, hoping to twink as much as i possibly can when the time comes.

Can anybody tell me what goodies Kunark brings for monks? Wu sticks, mossy twig/branch, fungi tunics... can't remember what else to put on my wish list.
