I've seen the series with Alec Guiness a few times and the sequel Smiley's People. It's a slow build-up, not everyone's cup of tea, but I like a lot of shows from the 60s and 70s. Great era for British TV drama.

just started Smiley's People already hooked after ep 1. First time watching Alec Guinness in anything other than Star Wars, so this is trip.
