I will just say that if you are a sports company, making sportswear for athletes, naming your company victory sort of make sense.
I don't think there is a secret ritualistic ploy to keep the old gods alive.

Some of the most fucked up people I've ever known had parents who were more interested in being their children's best friend, than they were being their parent.
