So, logically the reason women dont get employed on oil rigs (assuming this is true of course) isnt because they lack the ability or fortitude. Its sumfing else. Here is a few points to ponder.
I have no answer cause there prolly isnt one.

Men hire, or at least create the rules.
Assume ALL women are like their aunt Rosie.
Never met a real woman who has explored her full physical potential.
Women may not wish to be exposed to the toxic (literal and societal) environment.
