Shutting things down just presses pause. The virus will continue spreading as soon as things open again. We cannot keep things shut forever so it makes no sense to shut them at all. Social measures need to be part of a strategy to buy time for improving hospital/care capacity. The increase in capacity will allow the health sector to better deal with increased workload (without getting overwhelmed) once social measures are eased.

Social measures can ebb and flow to match anticipated demand on health sector.

Was 90% sure about Fauci, now 100%.

He's offered his opinion on many things we should and shouldn't do. But he won't directly say rioting is a bad idea lol. Can you imagine!
