Because we care more about our guilds or our sleep or our jobs to leave and try to be competitive in 16-hour wall staring or noon on a workday server respawns, than we do about pixels.

Well, it's none of my business but both of those concerns can be avoided easily and still allow you to kill VP dragons once in a while.

Once in awhile (or even 6/6 every week) isn't worth leaving your guild and friends in said guild. That is the point though.

Not many people really care about VP pixels. By and large, they blow. Almost nothing for casters, the few caster pieces most are pretty meh. Rend Robe, GH staff, Soul Well staff are all cool. PD Crown, Ear, Robe and Cloak are cool too.

Are they cool enough to say peace out to my/our guilds, join a conglomerate of people that you have no guarantee whether you will like them/work well with them, etc. Ima go with a no.

I have friends in a few different guilds, as I'm sure you and many other people on this server do. But it undoubtably leaves a sour taste in anyone's mouth when you jump ship for greener pastures. The risk of that vs reward of "maybe some Silverwing loot" isn't worth it.

Really though what should be allowed is a conglomerate force of Class R guilss (under all guild tags), be allowed to contest VP dragons without turning all their guilss Class C in the process. It would be more competition, which I believe is your main goal. Plus it would be hilarious to see Class R stumble over themselves in VP, as your monks run around spamming Bladestoppers.

It shouldn't be about the pixles. When we were first starting in VP, we planned for months to get our first few dragon kills. The pixles were not a concern. It was much more about the accomplishment of killing anything in VP. That's what everything else we did was building towards. I guess FE just had different values than class R currently does. To us, killing a Silverwing that only dropped spells was so much cooler than killing 10 Trakanons or VS's.

The first few VP dragons that FE killed dropped trash, and nobody even cared. My favorite VP kill by far, was a PD that dropped absolute shit. It was fun because of the circumstances surrounding it.

Anyway, I don't see why you would have to leave your guilds to compete in VP. It's not my place to give you ideas but I can see ways around this.

And I don't think we have any monks who use a bladestopper in VP, maybe one.

Derubael and Sirken were very clear that VP is Class C only and having just a few people on logs of a Class C mob push you into Class C, like Omni found out.

I wouldn't mind trying to get a kill with a conglomerate of guilds from Class R, if it didn't require we leave our guild or require our respective guilss get pushed to Class C upon a successful kill.

But since the later would happen you don't see anyone trying this. If Derubael/Sirken make an exception for a joint raiding force killing VP mobs you'd likely see one during a respawn.
