Yea they did, a nurse signed off on testicular removal surgery despite the person deliberately listing reasons that would disqualify them from having gender dysphoria and verbally saying they don’t think they have it

I work in behavioral healthcare, I know how easy it is to make the documentation match the desired outcome, just omit certain things, emphasize others. Don’t even have to outright lie. And it will get past even an audit

It was one of the biggest trans healthcare providers in the country if I recall, called Plume

“Re posed as a trans-identified patient who had experienced gender dysphoria before but not for six months or more. According to the current version of DSM-5, he shouldn’t be diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Plume quickly set up a virtual meeting with Re where he acknowledged he didn’t know the effects orchiectomy, a procedure to remove testicles, would have on him, and made clear that he didn’t consider himself gender dysphoric.

And yet, after a 22-minute video call with Plume, the provider sent Re a letter only three days later declaring that he “reports significant, ongoing gender dysphoria” and strongly recommends testicle removal. The letter explicitly mentioned that Re had met WPATH criteria for gender dysphoria and testicle removal”


And I imagine what they will do is use the nurse as a fall girl, reprimand or fire her, and claim this is not their standard procedure. And ultimately change nothing

It was just like when my dad wanted to go on TRT, his endo said “this is what you have to to tell me your symptoms are for me to sign you up for this”

The doctors want to give the patients what they want, with the least amount of hassle. They are trying to be helpful, not ruin their lives

People are making the argument that kids should or shouldn't be taking puberty blockers. I'm noting that none of us have any fucking clue, me included. It should be between the child, their parent, and a doctor, just like your HGH should be between you and your doctor, not some person on the internet. An endocrinologist will likely have it dialed in to minimize side effects. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence (or expertise I suppose). I'm not telling you one way or the other with HGH, but this thread is full of people saying children should never get puberty blockers. Also I'm not a doctor but I do have a clinical doctorate.

Why would you have more expertise than Unsung on the mental health of children? He probably has as much insight as anyone except maybe teachers and psychiatrists
