Flights home got cancelled. But got lucky and rebooked just a few hours later, and got free upgrades to business class!
This is why you should always book direct through airlines and not use sites like Expedia. They’ll leave you hanging when shit goes south. | ||

|
Japan successfully launched the XRSIM x-ray telescope satellite. The girlfriend is one of the main science leads on the project, so it’s been a stressful time the last few weeks prepping for the launch and hoping the weather was going to be good enough. Still more stress to come as they start up and commission it in orbit, but this was a good start!
