Landed in Namibia to start a few weeks of camping through Namibia, Botswana, and ending at Victoria falls in Zimbabwe. Here’s our new home for a while!

Hiked up this dune today in Sesriem national park. Was amazed at how much it triggered my fear of heights. Didn’t expect it when I started, but when you’re walking on the ridge, and each step causes a little sand avalanche down the side, oh man. I was shaking like crazy.

Will do a big photo dump when we’re done. The girlfriend is a photographer and has a baller camera setup with a bunch of lenses and such. I just use my phone and have a go pro in my pocket. I’ll do a video for sure, but it’s really hard to get good animal shots since they’re usually far away. Been experimenting with go proing through binoculars with limited success.

Walvis Bay Namibia. Where the dunes meet the ocean. Did a 4x4 tour there today. Apparently another group flipped their suv over and rolled it down a dune. Crazy shit. Everyone was ok but the car was totaled. Luckily didn’t happen to us!
Weather wasn’t perfect, lots of fog from the ocean blocking the view, but as they say here “hakuna matata”! | ||

Finished up two days of touring Etosha National Park. Here’s some shitty iPhone photos. When the girlfriend processes her expensive camera photos they’re going to be nuts. Saw lions almost take down a zebra, and then some cheetahs munchin on a springbok.
