Ayn Rand is terrible, just awful.

I dated a girl once who was butt nuts for Ayn Rand. She got scammed into racking up student loan debt by University of Phoenix. She now works in retail and posts facebook statuses about how capitalism is just the best and "Barry" Obama is shitting on "hard working Americans"

All randroids are variations along that same theme.

Ayn Rand eventually signed up for medicare and social security so she didn't have to starve to death in the streets.

So much for that philosophy.

Only good book by Rand, if you ever see her "Romantic Manifesto" novel run for your life.

I like a lot of the key points of the philosophy the book points out, even if a bit extreme in some cases.

Probably helps that I group in an inner city area where everyone was getting free disability checks for "Learning Disabilities" and dropping out of school and smoking weed all day.

Went back home same old friends still unemployed at 24 years old still on disability for that blasted "Attention Deficit Disorder". Glad a portion of the many taxes I pay supports their purp smoking.

This is the only book I ever checked out of the library and didn't return on time. One month not enough time to read, as evidenced by OP.
