![]() Obviously, anyone can quote anyone and have him say whatever they want.
What I said was that The Greenmist being Iksar only had been discussed alot already at lenght on this server. I also said that the khukri's being iksar had not been discussed "at lenght" as you put it. I only see it mentioned in one of the posts you are refering to, and there is no backup for the claim of the poster in that post. In that regard, this post is the first to bring conclusive evidence of the khukri being iksar only. Assuming that the devs know about everything on p99 and what is or isnt classic would'nt make much sense. After all, every week, multiple posts in the bug forum show that different game mechanics should or should not be in game. Let me give you an example: Root breaking snare. This feature should have been in the game from day one on p99, yet this change was only made a few months ago. The list goes on and on. I'm not really sure why there is any argument here, this item should be iksar only for the duration of the server. It is what it is, in classic. You can be sad about it, but this is the Bug forum.

![]() Doesn't make an ounce of sense why they would only correct some issues and not others. The item simply is not correct. It should be changed.

![]() The kunark armor argument isnt too strong. As the reason iksars cant use plate armor is their already superior ac/regen.
They don't receive any melee bonuses that I'm aware of so the sword isn't imbalanced so much as it just isn't CLASSIC. Though I agree that all things should go classic if possible without to much trouble, that is the only argument that needs to be made. We shouldn't have to argue using ridiculous comparisons that don't really fit.

![]() It wasn't meant to be a strong argument, quite the contrary actually. I'm surprised you didn't catch on that...
It was meant to show that the "intentional current setup" proposal that uygi wants us to believe makes absolutely no sense.

![]() His main is an SK, and isn't an iksar. Do you expect him to argue rationally about something he knows he will lose should they change it(to the classic format)?

![]() Link from January 22nd, 2001 to the 7th step of the crusader of greenmist quest:
http://web.archive.org/web/200104200...tml?quest=1202 The reward is linked there, and the weapon is then iksar only (see multiple replies from people as well as the screenshot of the lord of pain's khukri) : http://web.archive.org/web/200104200...html?item=4589 Early 2000, when the quest had not been completely discovered, here is lucy's page on the so far discovered steps of the quest: Crusaders of Greenmist: This is probably a quest for a shadowknight weapon called the unholy khukri of Rile. When you hail Lord Qyzar ( you see him when you get teleported to the top of the castle ) he says " What is the year of our birth and the name of our father ? " When you ask him about the greenmist he also says " What ? Have you stumbled upon the ancient weapon of the father ? Do not fill my ears with such knowledge. it can only be delivered to the ears of the Arch Duke. Go at once and speak to him. So, go ask Arch Duke Xog about the crusaders of greenmist and he says: "Arch Duke Xog appears surprised at your words, You know of greenmist ? the unholy khukri of Rile ?. We once had knowledge of this weapon , but when our great cities were destroyed in 1056 A.G. so to were all the great libraries. we lost all records. An explorer named [ Argest ] claimed to have found one library still intact. pure babble. If you then asked. " who is argest ? " he says " Once a lord of pain. Argest is now a great explorer. no lizard has seen more of Kunark than he. He returned on season ago to tell tales of a [ Ancient Library ]. He said that it was there he would find a tome which could reveal the location of the ancient crusader weapon , Greenmist. if asked " what ancient library ? " he goes on about that there was many libraries that are now destroyed by beast or nature that are in the outlands. If you ask " Where is Argest ? " he says" Alas our chance of locating greenmist is lost as long as Argest remains missing. Reports have come in from the Legion's Deep Range Patrols that he may be in the Frontier Mountain Range. At least that is where the patrol captain found Argest's walking staff. He might have been captured, killed or even digested.' I'm not sure where it goes from here. Crusader's Test of the Pawn: This is the first shadowknight test. Lord Gikzic in the Temple of Terror hands you a Sarnak Head Pack, and asks you to fill it with four Sarnak Heads (Dropped by Sarnka Hatchlings in the Lake of Ill Omen) and return it with your khukri of the pawn to acquire the Khukri of the Knave (5/26 -- Iks Sk only). (Submitted by Muse) Crusader's Test of Pain: This is the second shadowknight test. After completing the test of the Pawn, Lord Gikzic then mentions a greater matter. This is the tome "The Origins of Pain" that was stolen by froglok raiders. You are given one page of the tome and told to collect the other 10 pages and the binder from the raiders. These pages and the binder drop from Froglok Raiders which spawn near the Iksar Bandit Camp in the Swamp of No Hope. Each page looks the same and is a lore item, so you just have to keep killing them until you get all ten. I would imagine identify will differentiate them as well. You then combine the pages in the binder and return the tome and knave's khukri to Gikzic and you will get a Squire's Khukri. Crusader's Third Test: I don't know the details, but it should result in a Knight's Khukri. http://web.archive.org/web/200005110...llakhazam.com/ with the squire's khukri being iksar only: http://web.archive.org/web/200005110...llakhazam.com/
