I had some problems doing some combines the last time I did alchemy too, I think. I had some failed combines in both the medicine bag and the bearskin bag. By failed I don't mean I had insufficient skill; I mean the game didn't recognize the items as a legitimate combine. It was just certain pieces of components, ie. these two mandrake roots wouldn't combine to make whatever. I'd set the two (or one sometimes) aside and recombine them with some other stacks of components and eventually they all worked. But yeah, for a minute they didn't. Same thing with made potions in the bearskin bag. I clicked the items all around my inventory, in and out of the bearskin bag, and eventually it worked.

Well, ive tried everything. I just can not get 5 or 10 Kithicor's Disease Treatments to combine in a bearskin bag, to make a 5 or 10 charge. I get the message, such and such cannot be combined in this container.

We're working on it.
This one is not an easy fix, nilbog is on it though.

Nilbog fixed the issue preventing this recipe (and a few others) from working.

These should combine, pending update.
