In a normal group that stuff would be rolled on by everyone who can use it. its mega common and if you guys stay there you will all get one, so its just a matter of who gets it first.

The dagger should go to rogue first to help group. thats what it would do.

in a random grp its going to be everyone for themselves, there's zero chance of people passing. People may even make an alt class just because they won a Dragoon Dirk.

If this is a guild grp, then you get to see people's true colors ahead of time.

Decide loot rules when group is formed and just follow whatever rules everyone agreed to. Some groups will be NBG and some will be everyone rolls. /shrug
