resetting a server that is already around might be ok with them though

red is going to limp along until p1999 dies, or it could get wiped .. either way investing time right now seems silly, since server nor community offer perspective

luclin isn't around the corner, nor are 300 active players to make pvp a thing

box isn't worth it atm, i suspect this is why the people that still play are all kind of special

As recently as a month ago Sirken mentioned they will not be wiping or doing anything drastic to red. The population is what it is and they will not do anything to help it.

No matter how badly we want a wipe to play fresh EQ pvp server, it's not going to happen. Who knows if they don't care, aren't motivated, or so sick of this petitionquest/toxic community to listen.

Play this for what it is or move on.

you make it sound like the players are the problem. Need elderan to crunch the numbers on how many shitty/Shady/corrupt/borderline crazy GMs were brought on to this server and ran it into the ground. The very few (maybe 2?) GMs that did bring life into the server were ran off the server and were truly missed (god bless their souls)

Any thoughts on just shitposting the fuck out of Daybreak forums and claiming that p99 staff sent us? a strong propaganda campaign and focused autism can win the day imo. america did it.

Over a year into Velious and the server is worse off than it was 3 years into Kunark. Every now and again get an itch to play but not fun with so many zones and not enough people playing.

No ill will to anyone still playing but it is literally a wasteland right now. I understand the 'no wipe ever' approach but at least start another P99 endorsed PvP instance and if that one takes off shut this one down.

After 4 years be great if something changed or will we be randomly checking this forum 2 years from now and still be seeing 40 people online with over 500+ inactive chars?

At some point community engagement/activity and population health should trump keeping your pixels. I dumped many many days into this box across several toons and I have my fair share of pixels to lose but I'd trade those pixels for a booming healthy pop any day and I imagine many of the people who have been around since day 1 would also.

Sucks.
lol are u guys still trying to get this done ?

the post seems very serious so i think u need a quick head examination

ain't gonna happen

I need the head examination? Lol! I suppose of course we couldn't get you to buy it into it after all you've been banned and releveled and regeared 3 waves of toons. If you really enjoy playing on a <60 pop server 90% of the time and 61-100 10% of the time keep going man! At least when we did it during classic and kunark there were less zones and there was something in the horizon to look forward to (kunark & velious) what you got now is it and will continue to dwindle until they finally decide to unplug it.

Don't expect change and this is another thread of hundreds that have been done. Curious what the sustained population numbers need to be before the server hosting costs outweigh upsetting the 20 people 2 boxing 2 chars
