Psilocybin makes learning fun, or in other words it transforms learning into an addiction like heroin or crack. Don't believe me or think I'm crazy? Try it for yourself.

I've cancelled plans just because I was in the midst's of a Wikipedia binge. I started on Les Moonves's page and ended up reading about the military history of south africa

Most of my time is spent working. I do corporate turnarounds (transformations is the new buzzword). Beyond that is 2-3x a week of firm required socializing, usually a cocktail evening with drinks, appetizers, and a speaker or performance. If not an event it's drinks at a bar with the project team.

With the long hours and required attendance at evenings I gave up triathlon and just try to run a few times a week as a minimum, and figuring out a quick weight routine to add to it.

It's why I love EQ, I don't need to socialize or keep any clients happy when I play. Just zone out and play a game with a bunch of cool and normal people. Oh, and recently the wife wants to redesign the house so all sorts of painting, lighting, and furniture shopping...

like professionally? that's cool.

In my random internet travels I've read extreme low dose psilocybin can do some amazing things. Its sched 1 tho so no dice on actually studying it in the US and figuring more out from a prescription drug angle.

The studies that were done jive with what casey is saying though. also seems to motivate like u said.

ya professionally

i know a few people who microdose with psilocybin or lsd like that on a daily basis. definitely not the types who you would think would be doing that, most of them are suit and tie businessmen in their 50's. never tried microdosing but it's taking off for sure.

united states controlled substance laws have effectively halted research into how the mind (not to be mistaken with brain) works and it's fucking depressing. the story of ecstasy spells it out better than i ever could: revolutionary drug, the only truly empathogenic substance is discovered. does wonders in trials treating PTSD war vets, rape victims etc and helping them move on in their lives when taken in a clinical environment w/ a trained and skilled psych. christian preacher weirdo in dallas starts distributing it in night clubs gay clubs etc and selling it off 1-800 numbers, DEA gets involved and emergency schedules MDMA forever halting all research into legitimate use. keep in mind this isn't just some random chemical but something with extreme promise to treating certain conditions we can't to this day. more than just drug users and drug dealers suffer from the war on drugs, it dumbs society down as a whole.
