Generally an exploit involves, ya know, exploiting a flaw or oversight in how something behaves "exactly as programmed".

this is a known issue whenever an item has properties removed. Has also happened recently with some armor set that had its allowed races nerfed, it will happen with Bearskin bags, and I expect it to also happen when Antonican Javs get nerfed to non-stacking.

How is this cheating or anything even close to it? There were no exploits involved at all in fact the OP not taking any action is how this happened. How can not taking an action be cheating especially when it behaves exactly as programmed and known.

Ahhh you people hurt my head.
They're just giving the OP crap.

I just searched through all the GM posts I could find on the topic, and none of them, as far as I can find, discuss the ethics of wearing an item that was properly slotted, but retroactively changed to be unequipable.

I can see how some might argue that knowing it was changed imposes a duty on you to unequip it, but I think it's more like a manastone; it stopped dropping (IE, you can't equip the wurmy), but if you have it, you can use it. Think of it as being grandfathered in.

what are you serious about? if you want to talk about people actually exploiting the game we can go over to RnF and discuss it, but this is a known mechanic which I questioned even before it happened.

confirmed 100% not banned :P

Maybe so, but sounds like you lost 100% of your Wurmy for cheating. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Ah, see.... this is where you went wrong.

I am a ranger so I can make jokes like that.
