What classes are over populated

The only class I see perhaps too many of is monks. They seem to be the flavor of the year because of Kunark. Other than that I've seen shortages of everything else.

Obvious words of someone who hasnt sat 40+ hours straight lfg on a cleric between picking up mages/enc/monk/wars/necros to duo with.

I don't know why people think you can't solo as a cleric. I've soloed the vast majority of my existence up to this point (43 cleric). from like 8 to 30 if you have the bonethunder staff you can stomp undead yellows with relative ease.

Furthermore, you have lull which lets you split a lot of things other classes can't split, even indoors. I did roughly 35-39 camping the goblin king in permafrost while simultaneously working on my undergraduate thesis, it's not difficult (the camping, not the thesis).

Fighting casters? You have resist buffs, root, and stun. Casters are your bitches. The only down side is the long ass med time which most other classes have to deal with, too.

The point is, you can solo with a cleric very effectively. If shit goes down, just gate and try again. Oh, and if you die just exp res yourself. Who else gets to do that? Nobody... well maybe epic level paladins, but that's it.

Try killing giants with a cleric. It's very fun and surprisingly effective.

This statement would be true if not for the existence of the Ranger class.

Edit: Actually, I can think of a whole list of things that would be a bigger waste of time than soloing as a Cleric. Like sitting LFG and not soloing while you wait.

I still want to know why that person thinks there is some kind of wizard shortage and that there needs to be more. They're all currently either sitting afk in a group nuking once every 5 minutes or running around for 25 minutes with 3 seafuries looking for a 4th. Definitely something the server needs more of.
