It is a lot harder to get into the Air Force than the army, it is a known fact. They give less waivers and the ASVAB requirement is decently higher.

Its popular where I'm at for people to bullshit about the military and enlisting.

I know a guy who "enlisted" he went out to Washington? or Oregon/Wisconsin and failed basic. No idea if he actually enlisted or just went to some reserves program.

All I know is, after 2 years he eventually stopped lying about it and told everyone the truth. They diagnosed him as autistic (seriously) and said they had no use for someone like that. He was given medical discharge.

The incident that got him to the shrink was pretending to be a tough guy about the gas test we later found out. His reaction to being told to stop laughing during the gas test was to continue laughing so they gassed him more, and it continued.

Military career over.
