Even when I actively played P99 and enjoyed it I acknowledged that it wasn't exactly a legal server and had the possibility of being shut down at any moment. Same as any emu server. Just look at Nostalrius recently. Seems I struck a nerve with some sensitive nerds around here revealing that fact?

When you point me to the factually incorrect portion of my statement I will leave. Don't worry I'll wait...... You can't because it doesn't exist. The truth may offend you and cause you to scream "BAN THAT GUY FOR SPEAKING TRUTH" but it doesn't make it any less true.

The irony of people bashing Phinny players for paying to play Everquest when they play on a illegal server is fucking astounding. Not to mention prolly 90% or better of P99 players torrented a pirated copy of the titanium client to play P99 to begin with. I know pretty much anyone I've ever talked to has done so. Search these forums and you'll find people using secret code words and images to point people in the right direction of where they can pirate the titanium client for free. Everquest is not a free game. At least not entirely. Just cause you stole the client and play on a private server of very questionable legality does not mean it's free. Don't get me wrong I did the same thing and enjoyed p99 for several years. But I never bashed others for paying to play on legit EQ servers while doing so because then I'd be a fucking idiot.
