Fishing is my fav thing to do but probably just b/c anytime I am around water I got a cooler packed with beer.

When I go fishing I know I will always catch something a buzz> or trophy fish, I still win

Wine will be worth more than gold if the world went to shit.

poodles basically need to be worked at least once a day in order to maintain their discipline, seasonally most of the time, but they can course a field, retrieve, track, and will engage larger prey fearlessly. no other dog can do all those things nearly as well as the poodle. airdale comes close, but they fail at coursing a field.. pointers can retrieve and course and point, but are nervous and wont engage a boar, for instance.. hounds just do hound shit, which is basically everything but retrieving, but you have to do it the hound-dog way ... which is weird because i don't know much about it and therefore i'm scared of it. but poodles do all that shit. no joke. :P

No. It wasn't. It persevered, but it was anything but fine.
I don't see any monolithic structures that will last 10,000+ years being built with computers and electricity.

Society was just fine b4 the advent of technology. People did more than just "persevere".

Great works of art and literature and humanity were created. People explored the planet and we got along just fine. We even exploited eachother pretty well back than aswell.

P.S. If this is the P99 survival thread and people come back here for survival advice AFTER the fact LOLS... oh wait can't even read peoples shitty advice on how to purify water.

there are superbugs around now that weren't around 100 years ago .. shit that will kill you without modern medicine..

GOOD LUCK LOL
OMG this is the very definition of hasbinbads retardation.

You do understand the definition of a "Superbug" is one that is resistant to modern antibiotic medication?

You are less likely to die from a superbug if your immune system is strong and you have a strong healthy ecology of gut bacteria and flora living in your body than you are living in a modern sterile environment.

You are absolutely clueless.

80 acres with a river/ spring fed swamp stocked with fish good ol' bream and is almost entirely wooded with tons of turkey, rabbits, and nuisance deer. One Neighbor has Llamas, goats and sheep. Could make a reasonable pilgrimage to the coast to sun dry sea water for salt and coarse sand. The other neighbor has a full cattle ranch with plenty of unused (he's getting old) but cleared farmland. It would just be the matter of getting enough seed/plants to get a real farm started.

It's like the start of a goddamn community.
