Nor is it cheating to host your own practice server, but that didn't stop TMO from going apeshit over Xzerion possibly using his GM power to unfairly help IB.

Seems to me that a GM giving a member epic items before they're installed in-game is a far more flagrant example of GM favoritism.

I handed it to uthgaard to destroy it once i found out it was not supposed to be in game yet and he just dropped it back to me since i was being honest and he said Rogean was removing items before epics anyways.

There has been plenty of "GM favoritism" on this server since I started playing (Jan 2010). One day people will realize it is gonna happen, no matter who is a GM/dev or who is playing. It is an emulated server that is run by people during their spare time, who gives a shit. You can either play and deal with it or not, doesn't matter. As for the majority of TMO, who can tell when QF is trolling and when not, when he is honest or not, or whatever. In the end, it never affected anyone and nor would it have if he kept the items and ended up turning them in. It's a game, play it or don't - bitch about it or don't, it won't matter when it's over or you're done with it. [/serious]

That's all perfectly fine. I'm just pointing out the fact that there's no moral high ground on TMO's part. If IB benefitted from more GM favoritism, it was just a matter of luck. When TMO had a chance to be the bigger man and reject GM favoritism, they didn't. They accepted it and kept it quiet.

It was honestly Uthgaard's most successful troll. It's one thing to point out that IB may have received GM favoritism. That was nothing new. But he also proved that TMO wasn't above the same bullshit when given the opportunity. He showed that the issue is with the management, not the guilds.
