If you have a legal work visa, then you aren't living and working here illegally. Although, that still doesn't necessarily mean you're qualified to help choose the next president. That's a completely separate issue though, because work visas aren't illegal. Still you could probably persuade me that such people should be able to vote, or if not should be taxed differently (which they are).

They only pay sales tax on the items they buy to my knowledge unless they have a stolen SS?

I guess if they purchase a home they could be paying property tax? Not sure how that works when undocumented. They do utilize police and FD which gets funds from property taxes so if they don’t pay property taxes they are a drain on these services without contributing
