i never posed that dichotomy .. you're defeating an argument I didn't make.

and no im not just talking about antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria, tho those will have their day. i'm also referring to all of the viruses which we're vaccinated against. when those vaccines go byebye, do you not understand that the modern influenza will just wipe out most of everyone? pox and polio alone (definitely not eradicated) will take 2/3 of the non-starved-to-death global population - or more - of the first generation without any vaccines. one generation in with no modern sanitation, the rot of modern society will encompass everything, and fecal-to-oral transmission will start to take its toll. we'll go back to calling it "the flux" coz basically everyone will start shitting blood all the time.
