thanks for keeping me in your memories

what i really wanna know is if anyone who actually plays agnarr can tell the thread whats up with the camps/rare spawns. daybreak games says there are no camps and everything is a dps race. however, if you follow that rule you get people crying and sending hate tells about you to anyone who will listen. it seems like if a group is exping in a camp where a named can spawn the courteous thing is to leave them be but if it's a farmer solo whether it's exp or not it's anything goes?

If its something worth having, you won't hold it long without a show of force. There's an xp bonus so the tears are real when people want to mix their XP grinding on their 2nd alt with camping stuff that sells really well.

Imagine Seafury Island where its like one big ungrouped AOE DPS party. The rule lawyer shaman and mages can stay on p99. They won't do well against live competition.

Basically, if make a enc/clr box and expect to make a living camping efreeti... You're gonna have a bad time.

Mentality is a lot more like red. No friends, rough life. Know friend, ez life. You have more luck in guk since thats where everyone levels so there is more open picks of it. Sol B has a lot less so the competition for freeti/giants is fiercer.

its not really. for the most part, you see this type of thing in classic and that's about it. so 12 weeks of toxicity vs close to 6 years of it now? at the end of the day, would you be more upset someone kept you from camping freeti or more mad someone kept you from getting any dragon loot for 5 years?

It's even better than that...

Apparently on Agnarr is it 100% ok for an enchanter to bind in zone somewhere, charm a named mob out from under someone else, gate across the zone, break charm and then kill and loot the named.

Now here is the kicker.. it's against the rules to dispel the charm!!! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Meh, it's not like Velious raid gear is needed to prepare for non-existent upcoming content. P99 locks out raid content and Agnarr locks out open world. It's all the same toxicity.

Agnarr sounds better in that you can avoid people if you only raid in instances, but worse if you like open world and people can just troll you because they have higher dps.

Pick your poison, I guess.
