The ironic thing is that extracts and even just smoking flower all day blast your tolerance into orbit, and you barely get high.

There's this notion that if you smoke weed all day you're always all wacked out and high, but it actually makes you incapable of getting high. The people you need to worry about are the casuals who smoke a bong like once a month, because they get obliterated.

You could make the same argument about alcohol.

Problem is, it affects your hand eye coordination which is important for firearm use.

I don't think that's quite accurate. Yes you can develop a tolerance to alcohol, but it never gets to the point where you can chug a 2 liter bottle of vodka and not get drunk (and probably die). When I lived in california and had unlimited access to potent weed and concentrates, I literally could go through like 300 dollars worth of shatter and dabs in one sitting, and barely feel high. Weed has both tolerance and a ceiling. Alcohol has tolerance, but not a ceiling.

They are just different substances, with different effects on the human body.

Also not sure why this debate is in the afghanistan thread but whatever.

true and not true, at least in my experience. I'm a 20 year stoner, a month break here and there, some longer. if i share a bowl with friends, im only gonna feel it a little, but i usually vape concentrates pretty hard when i wanna catch a real buzz. or a make a salad bowl and burn in thru a bong with a butane mini-torch.

In 20 years i never reached a point where i couldn't get high, just had to go from shit weed to good weed. my metabolism has always been a freight train though.

I'll point out that this chronic activity has not impeded my cognitive faculties in anyway that I can think of. (lol, you get it?) i score higher on iq tests than in school, well educated, read, etc...

so if weed really slows your brain down, without all those smokin' years, I'd probably be emperor of the world by now.

weed is definitely a YMMV thing.

Shit that was a real upper always gave me jittery hands even when I wasn't anxious.

I probably would have been a better shot on opium. A lot slower tho. Sometimes ya need a lot of patience tho. For some strats.

I think the Afghans regulars caved more because of moral and half were / fundamentalist, or at least just very orthodox and they just want to go back home and marry their cousins. Never really believed in "the cause" democracy or freedom n the sacrifice. And all that.

Free rides over and why fight another civil war when they'll just get reinvaded in another decade or both sides will get fueled up and played by less orthodox foreigners.

It sucks in some ways anyway, they had a small chance with American imperialism to get a halal Macland. And some wicked inflation and Foxconn style factorization. Likely now while they rape and pillage they'll simultaneously get raped and pillaged by bigger players on the global scale economiclly.
