How is the economy? Am I going to be having a hard time making money and purchasing items because I am coming into an inflated economy that puts new folks at a disadvantage?

For my version of answering your questions: RP seems very vague not anything near what there was in original (sadly)...

Economy is fine you can collect bonechips and multiple quest rewards and make a profit for your time for gathering.. usually isnt that bad to make a profit... Also find a grp of people or guild to tag along with if u dont it will be a rather boring game and you begin to fade out.
