It is currently late classic. Kunark is not released, but some stuff has stopped dropping, like jboots.

plane of Fear, Hate and sky is available. Legacy items (rubicite, manastones, guises, Lustrous russet and j boots) dont drop anymore... j boots can still be quested of course. (even MQed).

Good question! I second it. We have been 8 months in classic, most of the level 50's got level 50, camped the hell out of lguk/solB , raided the hell out of fear/hate and have long since quit.

The masses have moved on, seeking content. The longer we wait to give them new content here, the less chance they will return.

I strongly disagree. As we all know <Nihilum> does not make up for the majority of the server. There are still very many low levels currently lvling up wanting to enjoy classic and the content it has to offer. Don't cater to the wishes of a few individuals, blue got to enjoy a lot more of classic before any expansion was released.

There should be at least another 6-8months before they should start to consider releasing Kunark.

Dude, the current new players make up 1-2% of the players that have played this server.

50% quit after getting everything from classic prior to planes. Another 50+ quit soon as legacy was removed.

Anyone that still thinks content isn't what everquest is about, is just too stupid for words.

I'd wager that more then 75% quit before they hit 50, and most people who quit did not do so because of lack of content.

Content is what its about... So why are you playing on a server that is LIMITED to two out of.. 15 expansions?

If you want massive amounts of content, go play EQ Live.

EQ after Veliouis sucked. If you weren't 5 when classic EQ came out, you'd know the difference.
