Global /ooc is letting the VZTZ people amplify their crap and giving the wrong impression to new players.

It's just beta... anyone who is playing right now is an elite few who are following Project 1999 to begin with. Once it releases I'm hoping the word will spread and get more people to join and the /ooc won't be global. The people i met in Nektulos last night were actually pretty cool and not forum mouthbreathers like is being displayed here. THey are the minority believe it or not. Enjoy the active chat channels while they are still there.

If not, make it a chat channel, like an auction chat. So that those who choose, can just leave it.

The need to brag, or inform the server of who ran away, gated, or plugged will always be in demand.

As for the hate towards VZTZ: without VZTZ, there would be NO r99.

And 100 percent remove it for launch. /ooc encourages the wrong kind of pvp, the kind that is for epeen and not in game reasons.

Like someone mentioned in another thread, VZTZ was all about getting to 50 asap and then randomly ganking for the rest of the servers life.

That is the opposite of what we want here. And having /ooc makes that harder to bring about.
