It fits in the bottom of my JSAUX case under the steam deck, along with some small wired earbuds and a microusb charging cable. The only issue with it is, due to the design, it's hard to type with it on your lap as you need to support it correctly. As far as UX - my opinion is it's fun to run around and waste time on, tunnelquest, and do some basic soloing and whatnot. I use hotkeys for everything, so it's target nearest PC/NPC - if you're trying to cc more than 2 mobs it gets a bit funky trying to target. Yes, you can use the touchscreen or mouse emulation and I do have one of the pads set to that so I can click on things and use vendors etc. I'm sure I'd get better if I played it more. IMHO If you want to sit back and play on your couch, you're better off with the Steam Link (or something similar) and one of those larger BT keyboard/touchpad combos. Or get the SD (and a dock) and use your TV as an external monitor so you have the portability if you want it. Chat windows can be impossible on large screens if the TV forces native resolution or something, but you can use custom UIs to get around that. Hope that helps, sorry that they've now made the deck $1k. At least they're in stock. -Mcoy | |||
