How exactly is this classic?

It was possible in classic at the time- player skill and overall game knowledge wasn't at the level that would have allowed for this, sure. But I don't see the point in complaining about what essentially boils down to "OMG people are actually using 20+ years of game knowledge of a timelocked classic server to do new things."

If you ask me, that video is the POINT of something like p99. What is the craziest thing you can do in-era with the maximum amount of tools at your disposal?

This literally ruins the game and makes enchanter feel like a pointless class

Like literally why would anyone play an enchanter when you can just play a cleric who can also heal, buff and Rez, wear plate armor etc. on top of being able to charm ?

My cleric in 2010 had both some virulent plague spell that would spread and slaughter entire zones and I could proc like a 900 point DD and heal with my melee swings.

It took lia about a decade to farm this junk. So. What I'm saying is no one on live would have bothered with these strats by the time they could do them they had better gear. Or could just melee these mobs. That all said it is very fun watching Lia do her thing and I'm proud of her.

Also charm is very broken. Please nerf both charm and channeling. Thank you!

They can only charm 10 times. Then they have to go recharge their puppet strings. "Charm-solo entire zones" is a huge exaggeration.

How do you explain this, then? They are literally running around ruining the game for everyone. A Cleric should not be an Enchanter also. This is not classic.

It would classic be if classic was 10 years no expansions except for the one that drops the very expensive and hard to obtain item(unless you've been told how to play for 10 years), puppet strings.

That specific problem is solved with progression servers and resets, but comparing 10 years of raid loot to classic is silly.
