I can be standing still, no movement, for 24 hours, never engaged in combat, fully fed/no thirst.
Spell was interrupted.
FUUUUUUUUUUU

So the same trick you're showing in the OP with how the server and client aren't perfectly in sync.. Can also work against you. Say you're running, then stop for a second and start casting. You may still be moving on the server.

ps. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Gif!!!

If you turn slightly after stopping and before casting, it fixes this. I think it forces the server to recognize you have stopped. Tell me if it fixes it for you.

I'm well aware of this,. that's suppose to be how it works according to EQEMU code.
But it doesn't always work. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] (greatly appreciate you sharing that advice however!)

I can be running, come to a complete halt and do a full 360. it still says spell interrupted lol, pisses me off everytime.

Make sure you turn with the keyboard, not the mouse

I still do this every time I come to a stop. Habits die hard even after 20 years.

I always do the "little turn" when i move and then cast. It's a holdover from back in teh day as I always remembered not doing the "little turn" and always having your spell interrrupted.
