For what it's worth, displayed AC is kind of a useless stat. It may also be interesting to count the AC that comes from your armor, while separating how much AC is coming from your shield, and compare those values as well.

EQ Live finally changed how this was displayed in 2017 to split out avoidance and mitigation into two separate stats on your character sheet. Then again, who knows how it works here really. Also worth noting: different classes receive different benefits from AC. With cloth casters receiving the lowest benefit. On live it went something like this: Warrior got 50%, Knights and Monks got 33%, Priests, Bards, Rangers and Rogues got like 20%, and clothies got 10%. (Numbers from memory so probably not perfect.) BUT everyone gets the full value of their shield AC. But again, who knows how it works here.

So the results are that more agility/AC means you have a higher chance of receiving minimum damage..[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
so theoretically... agility is the new meta? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] This makes sense now why my character always seems to drop to unconscious so much instead of straight up dead. (I did the dumb and picked some agi on char creation)
