My Ranger is similarly equipped @ 60 and even fully self buffed using a WeaponShield Disc during fight I was not able to get him to 20% before he got me to 20%. He summons so fight at ZL if you want to test yourself. Also rules out just bow-kiting him dead. A single Druid healing me though was all I needed to 1v1 him in melee.
