Bard soloing 1v1

There's a bunch of ways to take down mobs solo.

1v1 - DoT the mob to death while kiting

1v1 - Fear kite it, use DoTs, AEs, or melee, whichever is quickest. Your dps drops because you're adding in fear/snare, but you can kill summoning mobs this way (you can fear kite Eldrig).

1v1 - Face tank it with melee, mez/regen when you get to low hp, very slow though. Another way to kill summoning mobs

1v2 - Charm them on each other, DoT them to death when they are both low

1vMany - Ver A - AE kite them all to death

1vMany - Ver B - Swarm kite them all to death.
Disclaimer - P99 calls AE kiting swarm kiting and that's wrong - when I refer to swarm kiting I mean getting a bunch of mobs, charming one into the giant pack so they all beat on it, breaking charm when it gets as low hp as possible without dying, then killing it with DoTs. This takes practice to time correctly, and on P99 it's kinda bugged and difficult to do, but it is pretty fun once you get the hang on it. The difference between live and P99 is that you need all the mobs on the same faction here, and you actually need to swing your kite back around into your charmed mob a second time for them to aggro and beat on it.

Honestly, your imagination is the limit sometimes when it comes to the bard class. Grab something super strong as a pet and drag it to the other end of the zone outside of leashing range, then when it starts annoying you just Highsun it back to its spawn point and walk away. If you get something really annoying while kiting, gather up a bunch of adds and charm it into the swarm so it instantly dies and you don't need to deal with it. There's a lot more than generic DoT/AE kiting if you explore a bit.
