I drove a Lambo once, on a race track. I found it very overrated. Basically you have to be a racing driver to do anything with it worth talking about.

One frustrating experience. You're basically lying down in the car (being 6ft something tall, getting in there alone wasn't fun), you're strapped in like a mofo, your field of view is quite narrow (remember - lying down) so you just look ahead.

The slightest attempt at touching the gas pedal projects you forward brutally and you find yourself approaching the turn really quickly, at which point you have to figure out a plan soon because that car doesn't drive like your regular Toyota.

And then you try the brakes and it's like hitting a freaking wall. It just stops the car right there - you figure that being strapped isn't so bad after all.

Then you realize you never got past the 2nd gear...

I'll take a good old fashioned japanese racing bike over that any day.

It was a Gallardo, like 12 years ago.

I indeed never drive that kind of car. I don't know where you live, but around where I do, people who drive those do it to compensate lack of hair density or penile real estate.

I have no shortage of either and therefore can afford driving a safe and comfortable car.
