But still, in this case, the model was temporary. It had a short term effect, yes, but this is often the case when governments reform and push in a different direction, if they ditch corruption from the previous government. The difference is on proven outcome. Since the system wasn't able to continue, projecting what could have been is simply theoretical. But unfortunately, compared to the history of governments, they all eventually collapse. I'm not putting it as fact, not in and of itself, since we really didn't see a prolonged result of it. But in comparison to every other government that has risen and fallen, one can only theorize along those lines as is the usual plight of government throughout history. With it's ending, we are only left with it's once held theory, a govt system claimed to be able to endure 1000 years. I can't observe that since it's gone, so no facts involved by any perspective. Many of the guys that wrote up our constitution knew about this, about the problems of government in general, which is why they stressed limited government. Over 200 years, not a bad run so far. Of course things are changing, it's growing and out of control far beyond it's original limited powers. I'm certain that what we have now can't last much longer, as is the norm. It wasn't ideal perfection, that's for sure, but it was enduring to a point, and then it was abandoned for a new idea, same as every other. If we are so advanced, we shouldn't even need a nanny state. If we are so enlightened, we should be able to self-govern rather than to be as children for some government entity to monitor and make decisions for us. But what we get out of govt is mostly the blind leading the blind along with everyone else often by force. It's about as bad as a sighted man being lead at fast pace by a half-hazard blind man though busy city streets. We are always stuck with the human component with government, thus the more of that component you have, the more likely it'll fail. It's just a given.

So it changes the reply I guess, but all sorted out. ps and no, I didn't know who Flair was/is. I stopped watching wrestling a long time ago. I did for a while though, Hogan, Piper, Andre the Giant etc. I just mostly watch motorsports, GP and F1 mainly.
