Education a priority is one thing, paying for every hoodlum coming out of high school to try and fail college with no financial repercussions is another, making a bachelor's the current equivalent of a hs diploma would just be stupid. It works in small ass countries it'll never sustainably work here

This. I won't pay for hoods to go to college, I had enough violent hoods at my college on scholarship and Federal grant.

I don't agree, I think making a free collage degree is a great idea even if it holds as much value as a deploma. Most jobs worth having don't require you have either. Anything that prevents people from exiting highschool with the idea that they're an adult and may have "completed" learning I think is great.

The time spent in collage, friends you make, networks you build, leaving your home and exploring the world and new ideas, that's all that matters. Not the certificate at the end.

So yea I think anything that encourages more people to do this is good. But I also hate everyone and want them all to die in a fire at the same time. So idk /shrug

No way dude. IDK what county you live in, but I went to a big State school and it was already very violent.

I had to thug it out myself (will not provide details as to the steps I took) but you definitely wanted to fit in rather than fade if you wanted any type of social life. Every party had posturing and violent people at it.

This one crew at UMass had 5-6 guys who had felony battery charges repeatedly. They would beat up any guys they felt like. Lot of "city-minded" urban hiphop/thug era type stuff, not all poor hipsters and millennial man-children.

Tons of thug elements on campus and off campus. I had to fight several students in my 4th year.
