+ mana gear is almost always better until 30+ (and even after that - i have 200 int with a crapton of mana gear). People who twink out low level characters with a crapton of wis/int items aren't getting the best bang for their buck.

Hp/Mana is king until 30+.

Get some hp/mana jewelry. The lower level ones are often sold at discount prices and help you a lot. Also, there's some offhand mana/hp items that people often sell for dump prices [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

go beg for buffs in ec tunnel from a druid n whatever else, go use said buffs and kill all the snakes and other crap around ec for a quick level 12.

boom u just got 12 naked, easily, in a few hours.

now go kill wisps n crap in the middle of the small volcano on wisp island, then kill the cats and wisps.

now u just made money for all that cheap druid gear while quickly getting to level 21 easily and you didnt even need gear. now u have gear.

now go group or whatever else, kill more wisps, kill hhk guards, port people, whatever.

I always preferred wisps in NK (there's a ton of them but you're not totally away from civilization)...Plus you're right there next to the gypsy Greater Lightstone quest NPC/vendor...

IMO quit being a pussy. Take your free 1k and go to a casino and roll it up to about 8k. Buy GEBS walk around with gold feet /ruding the world.
