Feel free to prove me wrong...
I mean not for nothing, but this game is about pvp and competition. Blocking a guild out of an area is what this game is about... Do some people go to far? Yes. But blocking a guild out of the top gear is what keeps you ahead of the rest.
If they make it where you cant attack a guild in mid raid, then whats the difference between here and blue server. It takes any strategy out of the game.

If a group of 20 attacks a group of 80 in any of the end of xpac raids it's gonna be a wipe.

Welcome to EverQuest.

Any small group can ensure Tormax and most everything in the arena never gets killed. I don't really support this though as I think all out pvp is much more fun than hit and runs.

Well, the preferred method on SZ was just to crash the zone and reset the timers. Forget the guys name, Otslak? He was the leader of Vindictive.

That was the method on most servers, though it was much more prevalent during Luclin when there were multiple options to crash zones.

You can still crash the zones, however it does not reset boss timers anymore.

Busting CH chain is what I remember the most. Vel mobs are where the damage output started to really climb in EQ, like AOW quad hit. Other than that controlling bottleneck mobs, not really possible until Luclin, is the way to go.

only north tov is scowl to everyone, and you can still log off chars at various spots, and since theres no secrets on red99 you can login at certain spots when certain guilds engage

I dunno, most of the epics still hold value. SK one allows 2h bash for races w/o slam. Ranger proc still useful situationally, and the one with worn haste is 13/21 vs 13/20 for a primal 1h. Warrior epic will continue to be used for agro proc until someone is using a SoD/BoC combo. Rogue epic is only replaced by drops off Vulak and Tunare (it'll be awhile). Monk epic never gets replaced and can be used w/ primal.

So really for melees the paladin epic is the only one that will be replaced fairly quickly into the xpac.

Why would a warrior use this weapon for aggro? http://wiki.project1999.com/Blade_of_Carnage

You don't know as much about Velious as you think you do.

Epic is already not the best warrior aggro combination, which means you don't know all that much about Kunark, either.
