Global OOC Compromise

ok so lots of ppl want global ooc and lots more do not. I personally think that if server had 500+ at all times then would not need, but under that shud be in. HOWEVER, I am a kind and just troll, so I wuz thinking about what would be a goog compromise. What if instead of global OOC, there were OOC "regions?" For instance, you could make it so OOC was separate for each continent but u could hear other ppl in zones on same continent. Alternatively, the zones cud be split up into bigger zones where ooc was the same. Aka, Innothule, grobb, the guks, feeerot, oggok and fear cud be one "ooc zone"

Global ooc was the worst feature of vztz. If ya need global speak you may use tells, guild chat, vent, teamspeak, or these boards. Global ooc ruins the immersion. Thanks but no thanks. I have found tons of peeps to chat with in game without any sort of global mor continent ooc.

No global ooc is one of the reasons I'm not playing atm.

The server has < 300 people. Where exactly are OOC or auction channels going to be used? Because they sure doesn't get used in any of the zones I'm in when I log in.

I don't fucking care about your "immersion", when you're playing solo player everquest trying to convince yourself that auto-attacking gnolls for 50 hours is really fun, just about anything would be nice to break up the monotony. I'd take the worst VZTZ chat spam over the nothing we have now.

You could always join Imaginary Friends. You would be able to hold a good 51% of the server pop hostage at a time in guildchat. <3. I miss the global shit talk some sure but I feel the players on this server are a lot more civilized and reminds me of RZ because the 100 normal players don't get disgusted and play a different game because 3 tards decide to stroke it in a public channel.
