EQ crash when you camp
Hey all,
I recently updated to Windows 10 and seem to have more crashes when I camp. I camp, I have to wait like 1 minute and I got a message error saying that EQ crashed. Any people had this problem and found a way to solve it ? Thanks !

What I did was open the directory in which Everquest is installed, and then find eqgame.exe - right click and go to properties, and enable compatibility mode.
I run Windows 10 also, and what I've noticed is that the 'compatibility mode' settings it recommended to me was Windows XP SP 3. Once I checked that box, and re-ran Everquest I have not run into crashing while zoning, or crashing while logging - something that would happen to me quite frequently. Another thing to note is that once you have done this change, the prior directory (something along the lines of C:\Users\%username%\virtualstore\yada yada) all of the UI files and .ini files for your characters in that directory should be copied and placed into the core directory in which your Everquest game is installed. Hope this helps.

Should sticky this if its the solution ? and put "windows 10" in the title.
I will try if this solves my problem also "19 out of 20 EQ will crash after camping" using windows 10...

OMG I love you this worked!
For Olum, the file will be named EQgame and listed as application. Click on it and click troubleshoot compatibility.
